Abstrakt
Článek vychází
ze studie Patricka Webera Discussions in the comments section: Factors influencing participation
and interactivity in online newspapers’ reader comments (2014), ve které se autor zabývá on-line komentáři jako formou uživatelské participace na zpravodajských webech. Autor konkrétně zkoumá vliv zpravodajských hodnot na míru
participace a interaktivity. Východiskem analýzy je teorie newsworthiness Johana
Galtunga a Mari Rugeové (1965). Cílem tohoto článku je představit Weberovu analýzu on-line komentářů a shrnout její výsledky. V závěru se tuto formu internetové diskuze snažím zasadit do kontextu deliberativní
digitální demokracie (Dahlberg 2011).
Abstract
This article is based on the Patrick Weber's study Discussions in the comments section: Factors
influencing participation and interactivity in online newspapers' reader
comments (2014) which deals with comments as forms of user online participation.
The author specifically examines the impact of news article's news factors on
the participation level and interactivity in an article's comments section. The
analysis is based on an adaption of Galtung and Ruge's theory of newsworthiness (1965). The aim of this article
is to present Weber's analysis and summarize results. Finally I try to put
online comments into digital deliberative
democracy (Dahlberg 2011) context.
