Generace Y, narcismus a sociální sítě

Abstrakt:

                Tato práce se zabývá problematikou vztahů mezi užíváním sociálních sítí a dopady na psychický stav a sociální jednání jedinců. Mnohé studie totiž ukázaly, že existuje vztah mezi narcismem a užíváním sociálních sítí. Východiskem pro tuto práci se stala studie s názvem „Millennials, narcissism, and social networking: What narcissists do on social networking sites and why“, která zkoumala vztahy mezi narcismem a užíváním sociálních sítí a to se zaměřením na generaci Y. V úvodu práce se věnuji vymezení problematiky narcismu, potažmo psychických a sociálních poruch souvisejících s využíváním technologií. Další část pojednává o vybrané studii a všech jejích aspektech, včetně užitých metod, hypotézách, sběru dat, závěrech i diskuzi. Závěr celé práce je věnován porovnání vybrané studie s ostatními dostupnými poznatky a studiemi, hledání souvislostí a současně i zamyšlení nad danou problematikou.

Abstract:

                This paper is concerned with the problematic of the links between the use of social networks (SNS) and the effects of psychological and social behavior of individuals. The current studies examined the link between narcissism and and use of social networks. This paper is based on a research study called „Millenials, narcissism, and social networking: What narcissists do on social networking sites and why“, which examined the link between narcissism ant the use of social networking. This study was focused on the Millenials. The first part of this paper is focused on the issues of narcissism, hence it is focused on the psychological and social disorders associated with use of technology. Another part discusses the selected study and all its aspects, including the hypotheses, applied methods, conclusions and discussion. The conclusion of the paper is devoted to the comparsion of selected studies with other available studies and I try to find some links between studies and think about this issue.
