Abstrakt

Práce Sociální vlivy internetu a jejich vývoj se zabývá především výzkumy v této oblasti, jejichž výsledky se s vývojem internetu značně liší. Od rozšíření internetu předpokládali sociologové a psychologové, že může mít negativní vliv na sociální život člověka. Pozdější výzkumy však tato tvrzení vyvrací. Jako stěžejní zdroje jsou použity dvě studie, z nichž jedna pojednává o výsledcích výzkumu o sociálním vlivu internetu (Franzen 1998) a druhá studie sumarizuje výsledky výzkumů do roku 2009 (Valkenbrg, Peter 2009) a předpokládá možné příčiny změn v sociálním působení internetu. Následně se autorka zamýšlí nad aktuální situací a dalším vývojem v dané oblasti.

Abstract

The thesis Social influences on the Internet and its development is dealing mainly with the researches performed in the same area, whose results considerably differ from the development of the Internet. Since the expansion of the Internet sociologists and psychologists assumed that the Internet can have a negative impact on the human‘s social life. However, latest researches disprove these claims. Two studies are used as the main resources, the first one deals with the results of research on social impact of the Internet in 1998. The second one summarizes the results of researches till year 2009 and presumes the possible causes for change in social impact of the Inernet. Subsequently, the author reflects on the current situation and further developments in the field.
