Vliv institucí digitálních médií na formování digitální identity: Intimní příběhy mládeže na sociální síti Netlog

Abstrakt

Tato esej pojednává o problematice vlivu institucí digitálních médií na budování identity uživatelů na sociálních sítích. Hlavním tématem je proces sebe-reprezentace a digitálního storytellingu a jejich možných omezení ze strany digitálního media jako distributora procesu mediace jednotlivců v digitálním prostředí.  Esej pojednává o studii Are digital media institutions shaping youth’s intimate stories? Strategies and tactics in the social networking site Netlog od belgického autora Sandera De Riddera, ve které se zaměřoval na prezentaci intimity, genderu a sexuality mládeže na belgické sociální síti Netlog.

Abstract

This essay discusses the the impact of digital media institutions on the subject of building users‘ identities within social networking sites. The main theme is the process of self-representation and digital storytelling and possible constraints comming from the digital media as a distributor of the mediation process of individuals in digital environment. The essay deals with the study Are digital media institutions shaping youth’s intimate stories? Strategies and tactics in the social networking site Netlog by Belgian author Sander De Ridder, which was focused on the presentation of youth’s intimacy, gender and sexuality within Belgian social networking site Netlog.
