Vyjadřování emocí na sociálních sítích: sociální sítě jako „třetí prostor“

Abstrakt: Esej se vztahuje ke studii, která zkoumá, zda mohou být sociální sítě považovány za součást takzvaného „třetího prostoru“ podle konceptu amerického sociologa Raye Oldenburga, kde by mladí lidé dostávali neomezený prostor pro sebevyjádření a reflexi, na rozdíl od formálního prostředí a rodinného prostředí pod dohledem rodičovské kontroly, a zda se vnímání a přijímání těchto služeb nějak liší mezi odlišnými kulturními komunitami.

Studie byla vypracována profesorkami z University of Vienna Gerit Götzenbrucker and Margarita Marie Köhl a byla publikována v časopise Media Culture & Society v dubnu 2014.

Abstract: This essay relates to study which investigates wheter social network sites may be considered „third place“, where young people find an unrestricted space for self-expression and reflection apart from formal enviroments and parental control, and whether the perception and adoption of such services varies among different cultural communities.

The study was written by Gerit Götzenbrucker and Margarita Marie Köhl, professors from University of Vienna, and was published in journal Media Culture & Society in April 2014.
